“Trauma and Resilience: Visual Narratives” is a project translating adversity into abstract, symbolic artwork. The work expands on the concept of resilience to include include portrayals of resistance: the refusal to collapse, the insistence on dignity, and the active reshaping of one’s narrative in the face of oppression, stigma and loss. Each piece functions as a symbol for interpreting survival, defiance, and psychosocial empoweRment.
